Hi George: At your level, I would recommend bin95.com/siemens-plc-simulator.htmbin95.com/RSLogix-5000-training.htmbin95.com/certificate_program_online/control-systems-technology.htmIn that order. This is for all those who already know what the automation basics bundle covers. ( bin95.com/automationtechniciantraining.htm) If you don’t, or want a refresher to be sure, then do this bundle first before moving on to the 3 more advanced automation learning links above. ( The PLC/SCADA one above can be quite challenging, as it indirectly test for required skill need to work at that high level. It test for a student’s attention to detail, ability to figure things out on their own ‘googling’ , and computer literacy indirectly.) Also plc-training.org/ is set up with the sole purpose to help the industry decide where they are at in the learning process and where they want to go. It is divided into 10 learning levels (I call them learning phases). Each phase is tagged with occupational goals. So for example you might look for lowest phase recommended for engineer. View learning level requirements and then you have 2 choices... 1. Decide you are comfortable with what is covered in the level and move to the next level for your desired occupational field. Or … 2. Decide some or all of the material, merits you going over (even if just for a refresher to be sure). In that case, at the bottom of each level’s page, there are recommended courses to take that apply to that particular level. Hope this helps. Have a great weekend.
